Protective Creams
These protect the skin when exposed to various contaminants and irritants. They form a barrier that prevents substances from penetrating deeper skin layers and facilitate easier cleaning.

- Most creams are silicone-free and therefore suitable for paint shops as well.
Some creams can also be used on facial skin; moreover, they are fragrance-free and suitable for use with gloves — ideal for instance in the food-processing industry.
Skin & Hand Washing
Hand washing is a cornerstone of established hand-hygiene practices. In addition to removing visible dirt, correct hand-washing technique also removes a large percentage of bacteria and viruses.

Heavy-Duty Hand Cleansing
Hand washing remains foundational in strong-soiling environments. As well as removing visible grime, good technique removes high levels of bacteria and viruses.
- It is vital to select a product with appropriate strength. Using an overly strong cleaner on normal dirt may clean the hands but unnecessarily damages the skin’s natural barrier and causes dryness.
- All heavy-duty hand-cleansers from Deb contain natural abrasives — predominantly corn-granules, olive-stone granules and walnut shell granules.

Special Cleaners
Where heavy-duty cleaners don’t suffice, specialised cleaners are used. These are developed for removing contaminants like paints, varnishes, adhesives, mounting foams or sealants.
- These products contain solvents, so they are recommended only when absolutely necessary.
- Before working with paints or varnishes, we recommend applying a protective cream to create a barrier between the skin and contaminants; subsequent cleaning then requires milder products, less aggressive on the skin.
- These cleaners contain abrasives from natural materials — corn granules and walnut-shell granules.
